Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu come together again for a crime thriller film. Amitabh plays Badal Gupta, a lawyer hired to defend Taapsee’s character Naina after she is accused of a murder.
The audience sees Naina waking up after being knocked unconscious to see a dead body in her hotel room.
Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Badla releases in UK cinemas on 8th March 2019.
The film follows the story of the a young dynamic entrepreneur who finds herself in a locked hotel room next to the body of her dead lover. She hires a prestigious lawyer to defend her, and over the course of one evening, they work together to find out what actually happened.
