Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh is amongst the latest Bollywood celebrities Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone to be immortalised at Madame Tussauds.

The stars will join the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan.

Deepika Padukone will be the first Indian celebrity from Bollywood to make it to an exclusive A-List area at London’s Madame Tussaud’s museum. Usually, wax statues of Bollywood stars have a separate enclosure that’s in the dedicated Bollywood section, but Deepika is all set to “cross-over” to the main A-List, where her statue will be placed next to the likes of Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and other big names from the world of showbiz.

Soon after Deepika’s waxwork was announced, Shahid shared his news on social media, “Keep an eye out. Coming soon,” Shahid said in his Instagram post while sharing a picture of himself holding up a plastic eyeball that matched the colour of his eyes. While Deepika’s statues will be on exhibit in London and Delhi, details of Shahid’s display are not out as yet.

Another popluar face to make it’s entrance at the popular tourist attraction is superstar Diljit Dosanjh. Diljit will add stardust to Madame Tussauds Delhi which already has wax figures of prominent personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Virat Kohli.
