Canadian star Roach Killa & delivers a brand new toe-tapping tune alongside a slightly tongue in cheek video set amongst a backdrop of some of the UK’s main cities. ‘Run Dis City (Ra Ra Ra)’ follows Roach and long-time friend and fellow rapper Blitz on a journey across the country meeting some famous faces along the way.

The song sees a temporary departure from their usual styles of patois and English rap and is partially replaced with Punjabi lyrics!

Roach has just returned from his India debut performance at the Indian equivalent of the Grammys – ‘Global Indian Music Academy Awards’ (GIMA). On his return to the UK he also picked up the coveted Best UK Urban Act trophy at the Britasia TV Awards.

Meanwhile, Blitz has been busy in his hometown of Toronto spitting lyrics on a number of tracks and working with some amazing collaborators all of which will be announced early 2013.

Roach says of the track: Ghora for me was a huge success and a follow up was highly anticipated by the fans. In May, as we were set to release Ghora part 2, it was bought by a major  Bollywood  production house and will be released late 2013. Since we love our fans so much we decided to continue the Ghora sequel and created Ra Ra ‘Ghora Goes UK’ hence the video is similar to the 1st Ghora which was shot on the streets of Toronto”.

Run Dis City (Ra Ra) hits iTunes on the 6th December 2012 on the MovieBox label and looks like another success story for Roach.

Roach Killa is now back in the studio preparing for his new album. He adds: “This is just another monster taster from my forthcoming album which is coming out in Feb next year!”
