British Asian music stars, Rishi Rich, Malkit Singh, H-Dhami, Juggy D and Mumzy Stranger headed down to 10 Downing St to celebrate the Punjabi Harvest Festival of Vaisakhi earlier this month.

The music stars joined other key members of the Asian community, along with MP’s and the Prime Minister himself, David Cameron to celebrate the festival of Vaisakhi on 13th April at Downing Street.

Rishi, H, Malkit, Juggy, Mumzy and Juggy all acted as inspirational key figures that young British-Asians can look up to and engage with to celebrate cultural festivities such as Vaisakhi in the UK.

The government is keen to engage young people in what cultural festivities take place in the UK and over the years have worked inspirationally to make sure ethnic minorities aren’t left out of poignant days such as Vaisakhi.

And who else better to assist the government than great role models such as these guys!
