Hours after returning home from the hospital, the Bachchan’s organised a media meet at their residence to keep the eager press at bay, so that they could enjoy having their new little Bachchan member at home to themselves in peace. The media were addressed by new dad Abhishek and daddu Amitabh…press were then given a glimpse of Aishwarya.
The press were welcomed by a very proud dad, Abhishek and then an even prouder grand-father, Amitabh Bachchan. Towards the end of the media meet Abhishek went away to go and get Aishwarya who proudly stood by the doorway and waved at her onlookers. Ash looked lovely in her light pink salwar kameez…a yummy mummy indeed.
Abhishek revealed at the media gathering that Aishwarya underwent a normal delivery and did not take any painkillers. He also said that he wouldn’t be taking paternity leave; instead dad Amitabh who recently wrapped up KBC 5 and Jaya Bachchan will be supporting Ash in her motherly duties.
