British-born female rapper Hard Kaur is under the spotlight once again, and not for all the right reasons. Hard Kaur upset fans when an intoxicated filled performance in Punjab led to an extremely offensive performance, much to the disgust of those who had gone to see her perform.
In the youtube video which has become a social networking frenzy Hard Kaur is seen using obscene language and insulting her fans by swearing continuously.
Hard Kaur, who’s real name is Taran Dhillon was performing at an after party in Chandigrah and according to reports she was ‘too intoxicated to give a professional performance’.
Hard Kaur tried to apologise for her behaviour at the Chandigarh event on twitter, however the tweet and her Twitter profile seems to have now disappeared.
This isn’t the first time Hard Kaur has taken things too far at an event. Many promoters and fellow artists have been complaining about her actions at previous events and have come out saying ‘this isn’t the first time.’
Sadly, I myself have seen this talented young woman behave in the most inappropriate way at one of my own events in the past. She was not only abusive, but vulgar too to which point security had to escort her out. I just hope all the media controversy from this incident has taught her a lesson as she is a very talented young woman and has done very well to achieve success in India. She has a lot to give in terms of her musical ability and talent and that’s what she should be focusing on.
