Exclusive video of the full interview coming soon!
‘Superstar’ – that’s a big statement! Many may think PBN and his new vocalist Raj Bains may be referring to themselves…however that is most definitely not the case, as they tell me in an exclusive interview with Ikonz
“‘Superstar’ (the debut song from Raj Bains) is a fun track,” they tell me.
PBN says he knows the critics will probably assume that they are referring to themselves however that is most definitely not the case, the Bhangra music
producer points out.
Speaking about the new track its clear, Raj is very pleased with the debut track and extremely values the guidance & mentoring of his music producer PBN.
PBN, referred to as the ‘Hitmaker’ in the industry tells me this isn’t just about launching new singers it’s about mentoring them and being there throughout the journey.
PBN who has been in the industry just over 10 years now points out that when he first started he didn’t have much knowledge or support so he is using his own knowledge & experience to help Raj, and his female vocalist Bambi – known as Team PBN.
This is where PBN’s focus is going to be for now, on nurturing and developing to extremely talented young artists who are making their in the industry, started with Raj Bains.
For any new artist who embarks on a musical career it can be a nerve-racking experience. To me though this shows how humble a person can be, and I see this as I’m interviewing Raj. He’s a little nervous and genuinely looks up to PBN who is very proud of Raj and the work they are doing together.
Raj, who is a self-taught singer who was born with a serious talent for singing comes from a family who run businesses so the life of stardom is not something he is used, but he seems to take this in his stride, with a modest yet humble approach. He tells me that the support he gets from PBN is not just musically, as PBN gives him the knowledge and mentoring he needs and in my opinion this is vital to survive in an industry that can be sometimes ruthless and extremely competitive.
Raj tells me he was very excited and honoured when he found out he would be part of Team PBN.
Look out for the full EXCLUSIVE video interview COMING VERY SOON!
