Clotheshow Live 2011

The Clotheshow Live 2011 was bigger, better and even more fashionable than ever before. The annual famous event that fashionista’s look forward to every year took place at Birmingham’s NEC. Thousands flocked to the event to see what the latest trends will be and pick up a bargain.

Not only was Fashion a highlight for Clotheshow 201, but it seemed the celebrities were out in full force too. We got to put rub shoulders with the likes of Alexnadra Burke, George Lamb, Jeff Brazier, Lucien Laviscount, the castoff ‘Hollyoaks’ and ‘The Only Way is Essex’.

The event was held throughout 16 halls of the NEC…one of the biggest Clotheshow’s yet , and consisted of stalls from some of the biggest high street stores, famous fashion designers and make up galore! We milled around stalls such as; Juicy Couture, Pauls Boutique, Punky Fish, Models Own, Barry M and many more to see what was on offer.

The highlight of the Clotheshow every year is the main fashion show which takes place in the Fashion Theatre, and what a treat this was! Every year the fashion show gets bigger and better and this year was no different. The theme of this year’s show was ‘A Night at the Department Store’ – a show where the models came to life after closing hours. As the backdrop of a lift on the stage went from floor to floor, each floor displayed a different trend of fashion including Ladies Wear, Means Wear, Lingerie, Bridal Wear and Sports Wear.
