It’s hard to believe that it has been 10 years since the release of Bollywood blockbuster ‘Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham’, as it seems only yesterday thousands flocked to cinema screens to see Shah Rukh opposite the actress he has has had the most amount of on-screen chemistry with, Kajol. The film was a huge success and even today is regarding as one of the most amazing Bollywood films.

Shah Rukh Khan, who played the adopted son of Amitabh Bachchan in the film, too recalls the release of the movie which also starred, Jaya Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan, “Have to start working out…been a long time. The discipline itself makes me feel healthier. 10yrs of k3g…how time flies…shava shava”, he said on Facebook.

Karan Johar was also reminiscing earlier today on twitter,”K3G completes a decade today….the illustrious cast and brilliant crew made my biggest celluloid dream possible!!!”

K3G, as it was lovingly abbreviated, was a film that appealed to audiences worldwide of all ages because of it fun, romantic and emotional scenes.  The music too did phenomenally well and even today songs such ‘Shava Shava’ and ‘Suraj Hua Madham’ are still played immensely on the air waves and at parties.

There have been rumours for some time not that there may be a possible K3G sequel which Ikonz revealed many months back…but seems the rumours may have been put to bed now as Karan has said he couldn’t do another sequel to the film as nothing could compete with the first.

"I don't think I can write a screenplay to justify the magnetism of these actors. Recreating the kind of history this film has enjoyed may not be possible. I'm scared that I may not be able to strike the same emotional chord once again. Since I don't wish to bring even the slightest blemish to K3G, a sequel is ruled out,” he is reported to have told Mumbai press.
