Bollywood, and now Hollywood star Priyanka Chopra has addressed rumours that she is upset with Meghan Markle saying that they are completely untrue.
During a guest appearance on the US talk show, Watch What Happens Live, a fan called in to ask: “Are the rumours true that you were upset that Meghan Markle skipped your wedding to Nick Jonas?”
Priyanka had no other response but to laugh at the allegations and insisted: “Oh my God. No, it’s not true.”
Further rumours emerged in February when Priyanka was absent from the royal mother-to-be’s baby shower in New York. However sources say she couldn’t make it as she was “bogged down” with meetings for a book she’s currently writing.
It’s still not certain why the royal newlyweds didn’t make an appearance at the Priyanka-Nick wedding but let’s not forget the Duchess of Sussex Meghan was five months pregnant at the time.
